Canadian company markets heavy-duty hydraulic dump trailer as an answer to disaster relief clean-up efforts
Berkelman’s Welding and Manufacturing of Aylmer, Ontario, Canada, has brought to market a heavy duty 16-ton off-road dump trailer, intended for the construction and natural disaster clean-up markets.
The trailer, which weighs in at 6,000 pounds, is best suited for hauling construction debris, dirt, gravel, stone, etc.
Berkelman’s Manufacturing brings its 30 years of experience building off-road, heavy-duty construction dump trailers. It’s designed with unibody construction, and a double-acting, hydraulic tailgate, with a 55-degree dump angle plus European style telescopic cylinders, connected, coupled with a trunnion to the box on a swivel ball, deliver performance and reliability.
It measures 7.5 ft wide, by 14 ft. long, by 4 feet high with in-side pocket extensions – a bonus for large loads. It has a 15.5 cubic yard capacity.
Standard 550/22.5 tires with 9,800-pounds per tire load capacity, 8-bolt hub, and 12,000-pound per spindle and hub load rating, meaning it can handle the toughest off-road conditions. This is the one dump trailer for all job sites.
All the seams and posts are 100% welded for reliability.
